Opening the box I seen the motor was scratched and dented like it had been dropped in the factory. There were no markings on the packaging. The instructions are absolutely terrible and I had to look at photos online to assemble some parts. Some of the screws and bolts dont fit in the holes and need to be forced in. Attaching the left hand jig was super difficult, the skirt of the tabletop is at an angle and not 45 degrees (you can even see this in the photos here) which means the rail leans down into the table, it cannot move properly and when it does it scratches the paint off the table top. not only does this make it hard to use but also dangerous because you have to fight the rail to make it move forward. This is not something you want to do with a table saw! The rail also has movement in it which means you cannot square it with the blade and all cuts are incorrect. The tabletop is bowled and not flat, it bowls down and this means different sizes of wood will have different angles to the blade. The area which contains the blade fills up with sawdust, it clogs up and does not pass through the black plastic filter in the bottom. The directional filter needs to be removed to keep the blade free from sawdust. I attached a vacuum to the filter and had the same results. Cutting anything more than 4cm high soft wood makes the blade burn the wood, even with the correct feed speed and alignment of the blade. I am not buying a new blade for this item just to see if it is any better. This is a dangerous tool which would take far too much work for a brand new item to be in a safe and accurate operational condition. I have bought many tools from Leroy which I am very happy with but I would recommend them to stop selling this item.
